Your instructor will guide you effectively with a communicative approach to learning the language. Offered only during summer quarter! Levels 101 – 304  |  REGISTER Our standard group classes are offered in day, evening, and Saturday formats and follow the Echo Méthode de Français textbook series published by CLE International. Each class is 33 hours taught over the period of 11 weeks (8 weeks during summer). Accelerated classes   |   REGISTER Our 101-103 classes are also offered in an accelerated format. Complete each class in only 2 weeks, and finish the entire A1 level in one quarter! Conversation classes   |   REGISTER Offered in both day and evening schedules, our conversation classes are designed for the elementary (A1)**, intermediate (A2-B1), and advanced (B2+) levels. LEARN MORE **Please note that the elementary conversation class requires students to have the completed a 101 or equivalent class. This class is not designed for complete beginners. Review classes   |   REGISTER Our review classes are split into 3 levels, A1, A2, and B1, and cover 33 hours of class time taught over 11 weeks (8 weeks in summer). Using the Agenda textbook series, students will complete a comprehensive review of an entire level using all 4 language skills, reading, writing, listening, and speaking. A great way to brush up on your French if it has been a while, or if you need extra practice before the next level. One-Week False Beginner   |   REGISTER One of our most popular classes, this intensive class is designed for beginner-level speakers who are between levels and want to strengthen their skills. Who is a false beginner? First and foremost, you are not a complete beginner. You have taken some classes or have had enough exposure to express yourself at the elementary level,  but it’s been a while and you need some brushing up. If you are a complete beginner, consider taking our regular or accelerated 101 classes (see above). One-week Intermediate Intensive   |   REGISTER These one-week sessions are a great way to review and build on your intermediate (A2+) French skills in an accelerated format. Great before another class or travel! Niveau B1 Club de Lecture   |   REGISTER The Alliance Française de Seattle offers a quarterly “Club de Lecture” for adults at intermediate and advanced levels (B1+)! This class is a great way to expand your knowledge of French and Francophone literature while enhancing your vocabulary and grammar. MORE Undecided?
