Intensive IntermediateImmersion Day False Beginner

This immersion day work shop is conducted entirely in French and is designed for participants at false beginner level who need to review and increase their overall skills in French. The morning session will focus on speaking and grammar – with an emphasis on pronunciation, sentence structure and idiomatic expressions. After lunch, the instructor will cover comprehension skills using technology and the internet. Participants will explore French language activities through interactive pedagogical resources, from short films to news clips. These activities can be applied to foreign language instructional purposes.

Phonetics and pronunciation workshops

DELF/DALF Preparation

Are you thinking about taking the DELF or DALF exam? The Alliance Française de Seattle is an official exam center and offers preparation workshops in Fall, Winter, and Spring quarters. This workshop is specifically designed to help candidates prepare for the DELF exam for levels A2- B2 and to gain a thorough understanding of the exam. The instructor is a certified DELF examiner. You will be provided with:
1) a comprehensive review of all the sections in a typical exam (oral and written)
2) effective study techniques and strategies
3) a proctored written practice exam with constructive feedback
By the end of this workshop, you should feel confident and ready for the DELF exams administered at the Alliance Française de Seattle.
