Young learners

The Alliance Française offers quality programs for bilingual and non-bilingual children at an affordable cost to families. Knowledgeable and experienced educators conduct classes and workshops with integrity and sensitivity. Our age-appropriate curriculum is shaped by a team of experts belonging to the network of the Alliances Françaises USA. Teachers are attentive to every child’s progression with regular updates for the parents. Older children follow a curriculum that prepares them for the DELF PRIM exam.

This camp gives kids the opportunity to learn about science through our interactive and hands-on science activities. Let children become junior scientists during the camp and embark on a series of science adventures!

Explore nature and become responsible for our environment. Bring your creativity as we paint, draw and sculpt our environment. Let kids play with and learn about nature.

Return to the lost island, and let children create their own fantasy world. Kids are guaranteed to enjoy a wave of fun all week long in this camp that infuses movement, creative expression , learning and art

— 2017 Teen Intensive Summer Classes (Ages 12-17) —

Beginner (minimum 1 year of French)

This is the ideal class for middle school and high school teens who want a head start or who need to brush up on their elementary level in French. These intensive classes are structured around basic grammar and vocabulary skills in order to lay strong and effective foundations in speaking, writing, reading and listening skills in French. All activities are led by an experienced native speaker and are designed to facilitate participation, performance and confidence in all aspects of the language

Intermediate + (minimum 2 years of French)

This class is designed for an Intermediate level teenage students. An experienced speaker will guide the students in strengthening their language through effective writing, reading and intercommunication activities. Emphasis will be placed on proper spelling and vocabulary as well as review of verb forms with exercises that are engaging and relevant to a more advanced level of proficiency.
