Prix Albertine Jeunesse 2019

prix-albertine-jeunesse-alb-750x345The Prix Albertine Jeunesse, a reader’s choice award, invites children between 3 and 11 years of age to choose their favorite book from a selection of works of Francophone youth literature that are available in English translation. The prize seeks to reinforce the practice and love of reading among children.

All books from the prize selection are available at Albertine in both languages. The theme for this year’s selection is “heroes and heroines”, and offers different books for each age category: 3-6 years, 7-9 years, and 10-11 years.

Voting will take place between May 1 and May 15, 2019. We invite parents and their children, as well as teachers and their students, to discover the book selection, and to vote for their favorite titles!

Books will be available at AFSeattle in early February. Members can borrow 1 title at a time for a maximum of 7 days. Every book is available in French and in English.
