Lecture – Spectacle – Littérature gourmande

Wed, Nov. 8, 6:30-8.30pm, Good Shepherd Center, Rm 204

« Parlez plus bas, on ne s’entend plus manger » – Jean-Claude Brisville
(Speak more softly, we can’t hear ourselves eat)

Join us for a dynamic evening of public readings with Philippe Guinet from Les Passeurs de Mots and Emmanuelle Pourroy from the Alliance Française de Denver as they take us on a journey to discover la gourmandise française, as recounted in their own words as well as those of Balzac, Dumas, Nadaud, and more.

Interested in practicing your French public speaking by sharing your own delectable text – or that of your favorite author? Whether it’s a favorite recipe, a culinary quote or an excerpt from a short story or novel, contact us at the Alliance Française and we’d be happy to include you in the program!

This event is free and open to the public
