Paris, summer 1942. Irene is a young, bubbly, 19-year-old Jewish girl. Her family watches her discover the world, friends, new love and a passion for the theatre. The aspiring actress is living her youthful life without a care in the world, but she does not know that time may be running out.

ABOUT THE DIRECTOR
Sandrine Kiberlain is a French actress, singer and director. Her most notable acting roles were in the films The Patriots (1994), A Self Made Hero (1996), For Sale (1998), Alias Betty (2001), Mademoiselle Chambon (2009), 9 Month Stretch (2013), and Number One Fan (2014). Kiberlain has appeared in over sixty films and won two César Awards from eight nominations.
The short film Smile was her first film as a director. A Radiant Girl marks her feature directorial debut. A Radiant Girl premiered at the Critics’ Week at the 2021 Cannes Film Festival.
