Keynote Speaker

Gunman Xuman

Xuman, originally from Côte d’Ivoire but raised in Senegal, embarked on his music career in the early '90s. His debut album, "Wala Wala Bok," which featured raps in French and Wolof, catapulted him onto the international stage. Xuman quickly became a renowned figure in the music scene, performing at festivals across Senegal, concerts throughout Europe, and expositions in China, in addition to his online productions. He is known for the groundbreaking “Journal Rappé” project, a collaborative effort with fellow Senegalese hip-hop artist Keyti. Together, they deliver the latest in local, African, and international news through rap. This project has gained immense popularity for its focus on critical issues such as governmental corruption, mismanagement, and the impact of foreign interference in African politics.
